Sigh

Our time here is running out. To make the most of it, we rented a car and spent the afternoon of Friday in Santa Barbara walking around and checking out the downtown shops.



We did discover some southwestern flair here - the name of this restaurant is Left at Albuquerque, which is about two blocks from the Zia Cafe.

We had a sundowner at Stearn's wharf over some very fresh shrimp and calamari (yum) and then strolled around to check out the local wildlife (not all the human variety) before meeting up with friends for dinner.


The antics of both seals and pelicans were pretty crazy. I spent too much time gawking and not enough picture taking... sorry.
