The monsoons have arrived! It seems we arrived back in the desert for the rainy season, and just in time to escape the wild fires creeping closer to Santa Barbara.
I guess we should be happy for the rain, but every year I forget what a pain it is to plan for them.
For instance, a simple shopping trip turned into this...
The plus side was that we got stuck in a clothing store as the downpour began, forcing David to let me have a fashion show and getting him to try a few things on too. So, we make the most of it and are very happy for the rain.
