We went out for delicious Chinese food with our neighbors today for lunch. They are a great couple and have a really good relationship with the owner a local restaurant, so we get all kind of goodies not on the menu. We had a truly delicious family style meal with all kind of dishes piled on a lazy Susan in the middle of the table.. At the end of said meal we got the obligatory fortune cookies.
Mine read: "A friend will bring you a big surprise soon." Very appropriate. Ali's said: "Your help will be needed in an embarrassing situation," which could be appropriate maybe?
It could have been much worse though, my neighbor got: "Even the greatest of whales is helpless in the middle of a desert." I will not comment on this to save my life, but thank god that Stu got that cookie. Things could have got violent. Just sayin.
