The Home with the Red Door

Huzzah! We finally have a front door. After two months with a temporary door held shut by a 2x6 screwed into the wall, our beautiful red front door has been finally installed. I have wanted a cool modern red door since we moved into the house. I obsessed over the details of this for many years, much to the annoyance of Ali who suffered though this mania.

So it is finally in and I think it looks fantastic. Love the hardware and the single window in the middle, and can't wait to welcome people through the door into the newly remodeled house!
