The moms are in town this weekend for Alis baby shower. Since Ali was on Fall Break from school, her mom decided that she needed some good old fashioned pampering - seriously, who argues with that? So they headed out for a girl's day and had their feet scrubbed and toes polished. Talk about invigorating, especially for someone whose toes seem to be getting further and further away each day.
We continued to take it easy with a visit to the local grower's market to check out the latest in produce and flowers. We each ended up with something: Ali with local apples, Dotty with treats for her dog and Christmas ornaments, Nancy with fresh bread and local goat cheese and David with enough comments on his
Utilikilt to make him happy for being up early.
As I said, life is hard.
