Big eyed baby

I came across this goofy story at the New York Times last week. It basically says that a new style is sweeping the globe where grown women are inserting "circular" contact lenses in their eyes so that they can have a wide doe eyed stare. While I doubt that this truly is a trend, I have seen these sported locally a few times at the grocery store. The woman wearing these is a very unusual looking person dressed who dresses like a cartoon character. Overall, I think her goal is to look like a woman from a magna japanese cartoon. And the lenses do make her eyes look a little disconcerting.

But one thing this whole digression made me think about, was that circular contact lenses have nothing on Connor. He has giant eyes, courtesy of his mom.
