Spring is here!

We woke up to this morning to birds singing and sun shining. A chance glance out the back door showed us that our daffodils and paperwhites are blooming with more on the way.

And then our true spring started. Instead of showers as with the rest of the country, we get gale force winds. Currently we are under wind advisory for gusts over 50mph. Very tough for birds to sing in and flowers to bloom in. And, as this is the desert, very little hope of remaining dust-free.

Ali is traveling tomorrow for work and we hope this doesn't alter travel plans.
