The first - food carts are quite trendy here, and the drummer for the Shins (a band originally from ABQ) started a food cart that serves New Mexican food. The second - a very popular food vendor at the farmers market is a tent selling New Mexican breakfast burritos. Ian thought these were quite tasty until I introduced him to the Burrito Lady back in ABQ (for those of you who are able - the supreme breakfast burrito is the best thing ever cooked by man and wrapped in a tortilla). The vendor is named "Enchanted Sun Breakfast Burritos" (pictured above) which I thought was quite funny. Good business strategy - evoke the feeling and flavor of a far off land. It is like an exotic tiki bar located in Columbus, Ohio named the "Kahiki Supper Club" (which did great business for over 40 years. Then Walgreens purchased the building and bulldozed it despite it been declared a historic building. Arg!).
