The Details

A lot of people have been asking for details on the kitchen, so here we go. For the backsplash tile we chose China Blend with Crimson from Hokati tile. We love the little pops of red! For the floor, we chose Daltile Kimona Silk floor tile in Chestnut in 24" x 12". They both look pretty great.

For the cabinets we got Ikea Akurum built in cabinets. For the uppers we got the aluminum frame with frosted glass panels. For the lower cabinets we got the solar beech finish. We are still very impressed with the build and hardware quality and love all the thought that went into the drawer organizers. Finally for the countertops we picked Silestone in Grey Expo with a smooth finish. They all work together to give a very sleek modern look to the kitchen.
