Since the middle of February both of us have been very busy with our high school rugby programs. This year David has taken the reigns as the head of the Albuquerque Eagles mens program, and for the third year Ali is the head coach of the fledgling Albuquerque Women's program. Undoubtedly it takes up a lot of time, but we both really enjoy it.

Next weekend we will be taking both of the programs to a tournament in Denver (provided the weather holds). David's team will be competing in the Rocky Mountain Challenge, and Ali's team will be playing a series of friendlies with some local hs girls team. We have been planning this since last season, and right now our plans may be thwarted as another spring storm looks to be rolling toward us for the weekend. Ah, spring time in the Rockies.

But it has been a good season so far. Our recruiting numbers are way up, which we attribute to our officially making the programs brother/sister programs. We played a coed summer touch league and have practices at the same location. The boys help to recruit girls, and girls help to recruit boys. Who would have guessed? If only we could control the weather.
