Although it may not feel like it now (we had to cancel rugby practice tonight due to snow), spring is certainly here. Much of our hard work over the last two planting seasons are just starting to yield rewards. The tree we planted in the front yard is in full color, and most of the bulbs we planted are on their way to flowers very soon.
We also have decided to invest a little more in our humble garden. We are going to move it away from the sun blasted south facing wall below our bedroom toward into the back yard. We built two elevated planters that we are prepping for the growing season. We still can't plant for another month (freeze danger is still very likely until May 1st). These planters mark phase 1 in our backyard renovation project.
