Patonga Beach

Today some adverse weather settled in on the coast providing much needed rain to the Australian coast. They are on level 3 water restrictions now (no using water outside to water grass or wash cars) so the rain is a big help, especially since most people have rain cachement systems to save the rain water.

So after a rainy morning, we went down to Patonga Beach for the afternoon for some delicious fish and chips straight from the ocean (the fish anyway), and then walked along the shore.

Later than night we all met at the local pub (referred to here as a hotel) for dinner and drinks. We had a late night out followed by a stumble home along the beach.
