Scotch Tasting Party

We were feeling like shut ins again, not having had anyone over to the house and not going out in a while. So we gathered the gang, and in loose celebration of St. Andrew's Day, we put on some bagpipe music, donned a kilt, and had a scotch tasting! The idea we simple, bring a bottle of scotch to share, if inclined, and get to taste a bunch of different types. This was an inexpensive way for Ali and I to find this years Christmas bottle of scotch (probably the Coal Ila 18 year which was very tasty).

We had a good group of people over, and all told had 14 different types of scotch whisky from most of the regions (highland, lowland, speyside, islay). Very delicious. I even had some haggis on hand for the brave to try, and after a few sips of wee dram, most every did try some. A fun evening that we may need to make a yearly tradition.
