We had a pretty nice weekend last weekend (one of these days I will blog close to when the activities actually occurred). Our weather was absolutely spectacular (courtesy of La Nina) with highs in the 70s but very crisp and cold mornings. We attempted to go to the farmers market on Saturday, but found out that it was over for the season. So we instead we took the little guy to the went to the zoo. He is still way more interested in other people than he is in the animals but it was a fun trip. Highlights for him were the great apes and the ducks (who he really wanted to play with).

Left: playing with ducks, right: Dad, what are you doing down there?

On Sunday we went to Connor's girlfriend Sadie's house for her birthday party. There were three babies there, all born within 6 weeks of of each other. This made it a particularly adorable party with cute babies everywhere. One of the highlights was the tiny little birthday hats the babies were wearing - they all forgot about the hat on their own head, but they were all fascinated with the hats on everyone else. So lots of crawling and baby mauling. Good times.
