Connor and the Ocean

One of the perks of visiting Erie is the giant body of fresh water on which Erie is located. Lake Erie to be precise. Ali's sister Anne was kind enough to organize a boat ride and dinner with her boyfriend's family. We left the Erie Yacht Club (yes, a yacht club - one of the things I love about Erie is the old fashioned charm), for a nice cruise around the bay and onto the lake.

Connor really enjoyed himself. He got to see the water, hang out with his family, and even pilot the boat. It was a beautiful evening.

He was so excited and had so much fun that he didn't want to go to sleep. He basically partied until he passed out. Grandpa kept calling him the drunken sailor. Apparently he doesn't have his dad's natural born fear of open water - at least not yet.
