Easter Weekend

While normally not a huge holiday for our family, Easter weekend just happened to correspond to a visit from both Ian and Meg from Portland and the return of Dad from his consulting work overseas. So the extended Scrymgeour clan was all together for the first time since my brothers wedding 3 years ago, and the first time my parents and brother were together on Easter since 1995. Plus, it marks the first time we were all together with Connor!

The major draw of this weekend trip was for Uncle Ian and Auntie Meg to meet Connor. I think they both really enjoyed meeting him. He was a little angel for most of the weekend, saving his fussy purple crying phases for when they were not around (good job, Connor!). They took turns holding and feeding him, but for some both reason declined changing any diapers.

It was a really great weekend full of nice meals together, lots of games, and quality time with each other. We had such a nice time that we are already planning a weekend in Oregon this summer for the whole family.

Left: enjoying a breakfast from the burrito lady!, Right: post Easter meal
