Fun with Amy

When we arrived home from family vacation, we started getting ready for friend Amy's visit from the land of upstate New York. None of us were prepared for the heat wave that apparently followed us from South Carolina. Even at mile high, 95 degrees is still hot.
To escape the heat, we took a trip to the Sandia Crest. At 10,000 feet everything is cooler. We took a nice, leisurely stroll admiring the wildflowers in bloom and the views of the city below.

Since neither of us, including Boh the dog, were in top shape for altitude the "hike" gave us a great chance to catch up and Amy and Boh the chance to become reacquainted with the landscape.
