Parents in town

David's folks are in this weekend to visit. We'd like to think it's to see us, but we know his mom has been itching for a taste of huevos rancheros and to get to our greenhouses for the selection of southwestern plants. In all seriousness, we love their visits and look forward to the time we spend with them.

They did bring birthday presents for us and some other miscellaneous goods (Ali recently broke her IKEA lamp). David has been asking for a posh smoking jacket, and finally received it - all he needs now is a real pipe and some velvet lounge pants....

Ali received a beautiful lapis pendant from Russia - pictures with more appropriate outfits to follow.
Not to be left out, the cats assumed there were presents for them as well.
