Hi Ho Hi Ho

While I may joke about why David's parents came to see us, we have our own ulterior motives. We spent today getting our vegetable garden together. This involved hauling a couple hundred pounds of compost, some tilling of the soil and some major relocation and removal. Parts of our backyard look like someone threw a random bag of seeds/bulbs and said: "Be fruitful and multiply".

We managed to whip all but the biggest problem area into shape and get the watering system hooked up.

The rest is ready for another day.

On a springier note, we noticed that our first roses are in bloom, and that just makes me smile.

We celebrated our hard day's work with a fantastic meal. We are all exhausted and hope to be in bed early tonight. Some of us have to get up and drive home tomorrow and some of us have to go slave away in the name of science.
