Catastrophe averted and update on spring...

Last weekend the Scrymgeour household dealt with a major loss, that of the coffee maker. We were not quite sure how we could replace it or how to deal with our sorrow but we have come through and, thanks to David's great eye, found a suitable replacement. We welcomed the new addition to our family this morning.

While spring has arrived, it is still a bit chilly in the mornings so we spent a pleasant morning, complete with coffee finally, planning for the week with Tiki's help of course. We can't figure out if she likes the heat from the MacBook or if she is just jealous of the machine.

Back to spring. We transplanted lilies last spring when we tore up the front yard and are excited to see them poking their heads above ground.

The rosemary and lilac bushes are in bloom making our back patio that much more enticing.

It is almost warm enough to have meals outside so Ali is in charge of cleaning it up today. We are expecting visitor in two weeks so we need to get a move on!
