Holy cow, he is 16 months old! We have ourselves a full fledged toddler, complete with running and smashing! So to describe our delicate little flower in but a few words - bold, hilarious, fearless, and action packed. He now pretty much is a blur of activity from when he wakes up until he goes to sleep. He is not particularly contemplative, but a man of action through and through.

His vocabulary (mostly decipherable only by his parents) include car, bottle, dog, outside, kitty, all done, giraffe, cheese, and more. (He is a little chatterbox and does say a lot more, but we don't understand what he is saying). One day right around the time he starting saying words he started doing baby sign language with us (who knew he was paying attention?) and can sign up, more, eat, and (maybe) help. It is sort of fun to hear him put words together now, usually "more" in combination with something - like in the middle of the night during his early morning feeding he says to me "more bottle". Pretty cool.
He is still an erratic and eccentric eater. When he is hungry, look out, but sometimes his meals are hit and miss. His favorites include cheese, rice crispies, brined olives, homemade pizza, cucumbers, hummus, and dried fruit especially raisins. Still for some reason, not a fan of fresh fruit, but we keep working on him.
We have a lot of pictures of him in his highchair, only because that is the only time he is stationary.
He spends a lot of time with Mom since she is still in school part time. Now that the weather is beautiful, he spends a lot of time outside playing at the parks around the house and in the front and backyards. He loves going to the zoo and the aquarium, and now appreciates looking at the animals (where before he only wanted to look at the other people). Still loves going shopping, to look around, flirt with people, and get free food (especially when we go to Costco).
Ali is almost ready to start up her pharmacy rotations in June, and unfortunately will switch over to full time. It will be hard on her, because I know she loves being around him, but lucky enough he loves school too. Overall, a happy healthy 100% boy.

Sounds like conner already has some fancy tastes and a discriminating palate. Lucky kid, first experiencing solid food via those amazing homemade pizzas (however, he might never understand how to enjoy a $.99 Totinos)!
