Big Boy Bed

Sometimes in life the littlest things seem like the biggest.  Our son has finally graduated from a crib to a big boy bed!  Granted, he could have probably done this a long time ago, but since he is such a fighter of sleep we were anticipating big problems.  But for some reason he never thought to actually climb out of the crib until the last 2 weeks.  So it was inevitable that we needed to do this.  So the plan is to try to get him used to the new bed before the craziness of the holidays arrives.

[Update: a week after this experiment started he has settled into a good sleeping pattern.  A few nights of shenanigans which included laying on the floor trying to get our attention and peeking out from under the door. But he is now used to it and goes to sleep relatively well - or as well as he always has.]
