Those lazy, hazy days of summer...

Are actually the most bearable to be outside working. We are taking the weather as a sign we should be paying more attention to our landscaping project(s).
This is what we've been waking up to.
We spent a good hour consulting with our favorite greenhouse about what to put here. We decided on native plants in a range of heights and colors that in a growing season or two will completely fill in the planter.
We also planted ground cover that's supposed to grow really quickly and choke out any weeds that grow around the newly planted tree.

The biggest project we undertook was to relevel the patio we started working on last summer.

We are still trying to figure out how to rehabilitate the rocker to make the best use of it's potential.
